A fantastic listen, you're a very skilled reader and the awesome English accent helps, and while I'm not the biggest Final Fantasy fan it is evident that you drew much inspiration from the stories of that series.
I should hope though that down the road you lean more towards inspiration from FF6 when the time comes for a sequel (jk).
Honesty it reminded me of FF5, and while I like Nufia, I must admit that the lead had moments of irritation but he grew on me, same with Slaggar and Cid.
But if I may I think maybe what you'll need for an Emperor type villain is someone akin to Emperor Gestahl from FF6 an underrated villain, and one who I think would serve as a counterweight of sorts to your two principal leads.
Over all a great audiobook, I'll definitely be adding it to my reviews later.
