Oh hi; thanks Tim! I discovered you because I'm friends with the marketing director at David Fickling. He told me you had a substack and about some of your journey and I was intrigued. Thank you in turn for your first post about meditation! As you can see I am a reasonably prolific but un-trad-published writer and I often struggle with depression around it, so I found your post fascinating and helpful :)
I can only sympathise - storytelling can be such a joy but also a real struggle. Yes, the meditation has helped me find a healthier space for my writing, but it's an ongoing process! It's good to make your online acquaintance. I'll be following your writing journey with interest. I should mention that I didn't find it particularly easy to follow links to your Substack posts after you subscribed. I'm not completely sure why; perhaps because your pseudonym didn't activate as a link..? I'll take another look and see if I can see where the problem occurred. Anyway, thanks for making contact...keep well
